What is meant by Thread lift ?

Thread lifts are newer in the armamentarium of plastic surgeons. These are less invasive procedures for the permanent and one time management of wrinkles. Typically, sterile barbed threads are placed underneath the skin and their tension adjusted in such a way that wrinkles are flattened . these are OPD procedures and the results last for years . the patient is awake and comfortable during the surgery and the results can be judged during the procedure itself and any minor correction can be done intraoperatively to give you the results you wish.
